Rapoon

Rapoon is the solo project of Robin Storey, a co-founder of pioneering industrial group :zoviet*france: as well as a noted visual artist, painter, and animator. Since 1992, he's released dozens of full-lengths and EPs in various styles ranging from tribal ambient fusion to bleak drones. Early albums such as Dream Circle (1992) and Fallen Gods (1994) contained hypnotic pieces constructed from processed loops of traditional rhythms from around the world.
