Biography
After singing with local bands and Mariachis in Northern Mexico and Southern California, Norteno vocalist Raquel began a solo career. She released two independent albums in the mid-'90s before signing with EMI Latin in 1997. Her first release for the label was Lo Mejor de Raquel. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
