This UK band was formed in 1982 with a line-up comprising Simon Toulson-Clark (vocals/guitar), Julian Close (saxophone), Martin Nickson (drums), Rob Legge (bass), Paddy Talbot (keyboards). The group enjoyed minor success with the independently issued ‘Chenko' and subsequently signed to WEA Records. This coincided with a reduction in the line-up, from which Clark and Close emerged as a duo. In the summer of 1985, they enjoyed a UK Top 3 hit with the catchy ‘Lean On Me (Ah-Li-Ayo)'.
