Lyric tenor Richard Croft specializes in Mozart and Rossini but has a large repertory stretching from Monteverdi to music of the present day. He is also a significant educator.
Croft was born in 1959 and grew up in Hartwick, New York, near Cooperstown, a rural area, but one enlivened during his teen years by the founding of the Glimmerglass Festival.
