British soul-pop singer/songwriter Roachford and his band became big stars in the late '80s with hits such as "Family Man" and the Top Five "Cuddly Toy." Born in London in 1965 to West Indian parents, Andrew Roachford grew up in a musical environment listening to Motown, glam rock, reggae, and jazz.
