Road Star

Originally forming in the late '80s, Roadstar were part of the Australian power-pop clique based in the city of Perth. Along with fellow scenesters the Cherrytones, Roadstar brought on an energy of early punk and mod influences that looked to Husker Du and the Jam. Constant break-up and personnel changes would continue to haunt the band until 1995 when Roadstar eventually settled with the line-up of Paul Colombini (guitar), Nic O'Connor (drums), Brett Alderson (guitar/ vocals) and Glenn Tweedie (bass/ vocals).
