Biography
Brooklyn indie pop trio Roman à Clef formed as a side project of Ryan Newmyer and Jen Goma, bassist and singer of dream pop combo A Sunny Day in Glasgow, with multi-instrumentalist/producer Kurt Feldman (Ice Choir, the Pains of Being Pure at Heart). Sounding uncannily like a dream pop-lite rebirth of beloved U.K. sophisti-pop group Prefab Sprout, from the ethereal vocal arrangements to the extended chord progressions to the particular guitar/synth palette, their debut album Abandonware was released in 2015 via Infinite Best. ~ Marcy Donelson
