Rosas

Brooklyn garage-psych trio Las Rosas were formed in 2013 by guitarist Jose Boyer, bassist Jose Aybar, and drummer Christopher Lauderdale. Boyer had previously found success as a member of Matador act Harlem and also played in the band Daytona with Lauderdale. Aybar, meanwhile, played in Wild Yaks. Together they pooled their previous bands' best attributes and came up with a blend of hooky garage pop, Rolling Stones-derived strut, and sunny off-kilter psychedelia.
