Rui Da Silva

b. 25 April 1968, Portugal. The Portuguese DJ and producer Rui Da Silva has been part of the house scene since 1992, but not until this century has he broken through from the underground. Starting off in Portugal, he came to relative prominence as Underground Sound Of Lisbon with the highly regarded ‘So Get Up', a track which has helped to convince DJs of Da Silva's position as a godfather of the tribal house style.
