Ryo Kawasaki was a pioneering, award-winning jazz guitarist who is also well-known as a software engineer and inventor. As a musician, he was instrumental in the musical development and global spread of jazz-rock fusion. On the technical side, he collaborated with the Korg and Roland companies to create the guitar synthesizer.
