Sam Evian

Recognized for a sound and songwriting style rooted in late-'60s and '70s influences including George Harrison, Levon Helm, and Shuggie Otis, Sam Evian is the alias of Sam Owens, a recording engineer, producer, and onetime singer/guitarist of indie rock's Celestial Shore. Following two albums in the early 2010s with that band, he made his Sam Evian debut in 2016 with Premium.
