The Sediment Club play an unhinged, agitated form of punk rock which is faithful to the spirit of '80s no wave but also informed by the 2000s noise-rock scene. Their tense, angular songs usually contain tricky time signatures, manic vocals, and bleak, abstract lyrics. Since forming in New York during the late 2000s, the group have played shows at numerous basements and underground venues across America, often sharing bills with kindred spirits such as Guerilla Toss, Palberta, and No Babies.
