Indie rock legend Calvin Johnson uses the moniker Selector Dub Narcotic for his party-friendly excursions into dub, disco, and hip-hop. The Olympia, Washington native formed Dub Narcotic Sound System (named after Dub Narcotic, the analog recording studio located in his basement) in the mid-'90s.
