When Ryan Beatty was just a mere teenager, he began writing songs to sort out his personal, spiritual ideas. By graduation, Beatty was prepping for college life at Grove City College in Pittsburgh and had a guitar in hand. He made his debut at South by Southwest in 2001 and Arena Rock Recordings was so impressed, they offered him a deal. This surprised Beatty, but he went with it.
