British indie-soul trio Skinny Living went through three major-label deals and an abortive rebrand before finally releasing their debut album in 2024. Formed in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, in 2013, after the members met at an open mic night, the band initially comprised Belfast-born vocalist Ryan Johnston, guitarists Danny Hepworth and Will Booth, and drummer Rhys Anderton; they never had a bassist.
