Smoke Bellow

The duo of Meredith McHugh and Christian Best, Smoke Bellow connects the dots between motorik, post-punk, drone, highlife, and dub, but also allows plenty of space for invention. McHugh and Best spent years hopping between Australia and Baltimore, Maryland, and early releases like 2012's dreamy, twangy Old Haunts reflected how they were inspired by, and enriched, the fertile experimental music scenes in both locales.
