Gabriel Rene and Mei-Lwun Yee started experimenting with hip-hop back in 1989. They were soon joined by Gabriel's sister Gina Rene. With the addition of keyboardist Andy Caldwell, the band moved from a simple dance music perspective to experimental electronic music, delivering captivating vocals, deep house, and jungle/drum'n'bass with contemporary rhythm & blues, jazz, and funk influences.
