An Ohio native who also mixes experimental elements and breezy melodicism in his instrumental recording project, Blithe Field, Spencer Radcliffe is a singer and songwriter of ramshackle bedroom pop. He self-released his first Blithe Field album, Old Songs/New Songs, at the beginning of 2008. Using synths, electric guitars, acoustic percussion, and drum samples, it folded off-kilter textures into songs with titles like "Attic Song," "Basement Song," and "Woody Allen."
