Biography
Serving a stylishly volatile mix of hardcore punk, ska, reggae, post-punk pop, and mod sounds and images, San Francisco's Spiritual Cramp are a band with a commitment to fiercely engaging music. Led by lead singer and songwriter Michael Bingham, Spiritual Cramp made their recorded debut with a 2017 EP, Mass Hysteria, which showed that music can hit hard without resorting to fast and loud cliches. Their first album, Television, followed in 2018, and 2023's Spiritual Cramp added a tighter attack and more sophisticated production to the band's arsenal.
