Biography
Italian concrete-rock experimental unit Starfuckers was formed in 1987 by vocalist Manuele Giannini, guitarists Gianni Ginesi and Gianfranco Verdaschi, bassist Paolo Casini and drummer Roberto Bertacchini. Assembling fractured, abstractly minimal industrial collages which detonate rock structures into their most elemental sonic components, Starfuckers issued their debut LP Metallic Diseases on the Electric Eye label in 1990; Casini left the group soon after, and with the addition of Alessandro Bocci, the Starfuckers began moving into electronic terrain with the 1991 follow-up,...
