Swedish indie pop outfit Starlet rose from the same late-'90s scene that produced groups like Club 8, Acid House Kings, and Poprace. Led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jonas Färm, they recorded a trio of sweetly melancholic guitar pop albums for the Parasol label before disbanding in 2003. 20 years later, Färm resurrected Starlet and recorded the set of songs he'd been working on at the time of their breakup. Released in mid-2023, the reverberant "My Sweetest Ache" marked the first outing from the band since 2002.
