Summer Flake

A Melbourne, Australia-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose grungy, reverb-doting style recalls the likes of Sonic Youth, Stephanie Crase is the musician behind Summer Flake, an alias for her solo material. Born and raised in Adelaide, Crase studied painting and film in college before she adopted her music moniker and began sharing self-penned home recordings. She released her debut Summer Flake EP with Sad Sax Records in 2012.
