Summer Twins

Summer Twins are a California-based garage pop group fronted by sisters Chelsea and Justine Brown. After the break-up of their first band, power pop combo the Scandells, the two Riverside natives formed Summer Twins in 2008, originally operating as a duo with Chelsea on guitar and Justine on drums. Inspired by the sounds of '50s and '60s girl groups, surf music, and garage rock, they brought a more contemporary dream pop element to their amalgam of retro styles.
