Southern California's Trevor Beld-Jimenez began his '60s folk-rock- and '70s pop/rock-influenced Tall Tales & the Silver Lining project in 2007. With a roster of collaborators fleshing out amiable, acoustic-guitar-centered tunes, his first full-length album, The Understanding, was released in 2008 on Beehouse Records.
