Tapeworms

French trio Tapeworms play an imaginative blend of electronic-tinged indie pop, influenced by shoegaze, grunge, J-pop, and video game music. Their 2020 full-length Funtastic is aptly titled, but beneath the twisted electronic textures, bright melodies, and hazy guitars, the lyrics touch on doubt, uncertainty, and heartache. Tapeworms is made up of Margot Magnière and brothers Théo and Elliott Poyer.
