Taking their moniker from a shortened version of frontwoman Teeny Lieberson's name, TEEN incorporates everything from psychedelic rock to '90s R&B into their experimental pop. Their early albums, such as 2012's In Limbo, were sprawling and eclectic, but the band began refining their sound with the romantic, musically and lyrically complex synth pop of 2014's Love Yes. By the time they released 2019's Good Fruit, TEEN had established themselves as a band capable of equally lush and thought-provoking music.
