Born out of singer/guitarist Wilson Hernandez's bedroom compositions, Tennis Club took their surfy garage pop songs to especially lo-fi places, evoking both the teenage innocence of the Beach Boys and the reverb-heavy production of some late-2000s indie acts. The band merged dreamy sonics and melodic, '60s-inspired pop songwriting on their self-titled 2017 debut.
