Biography
Bridging the gap between two distinct eras of American and English popular music -- the soul and country of the '50s and '60s and the snotty, rebellious sounds of punk rock circa the '70s -- New York's (Brooklyn, to be exact) the Coydogs (Darian Zahedi, guitar and vocals; Nick Storella, bass and vocals; Joey Valentine, drums) have earned a name for themselves through a number of well-received local shows. As the trio's particular brand of alt-country and punkish rock took flight, the band released its debut album, The Coydogs, to a warm reception in 2008. ~ Chris True
