The Deirdres

The Deirdres' shambling, puckish, shouts-and-melodicas approach to indie pop nods to Los Campesinos!, Bearsuit, and Little My. A seven-piece consisting of Crofto Deirdre, Ramble Deirdre, Sparkle Deirdre, Russkies Deirdre, Fairy Deirdre, Ginger Deirdre, and Keirdre Deirdre, the group formed in 2006, basing itself in Derby, England. The Deirdres' debut single, Dinosaurs That Can Swim, was released on Cloudberry in the fall of 2007.
