The Glass Family

Austin, TX, indie rock quintet the Glass Family had their earliest incarnation at a party in winter 2001 with Tony Daugherty (drums) and Michael Winningham (vocals, guitar). After a few lineup shifts, they secured Frank Alexander (keyboard), Jeremy Gomez (bass), and Brian Hubbard (guitar). Their debut album, Sleep Inside This Wheel, finally arrived in early 2006 through i eat records. The Glass Family gained exposure through supporting gigs with Okkervil River, Earlimart, the Decemberists, and I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
