Biography
Formed in Liverpool with members originating from the nearby Wirral area, the Mysterines are an angst-ridden, grunge-inspired indie band fronted by vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter Lia Metcalfe. Taking influence from acts such as Hole and PJ Harvey, they emerged in the late 2010s with an EP on James Skelly's Skeleton Key label. After two more indie EPs, they signed with Universal, which released their highly touted 2022 debut album, Reeling.
