The Outer Spaces

Indie rock group Outer Spaces features the reflective, electric guitar-based songwriting of Cara Beth Satalino. Citing R.E.M.'s Murmur as an influence, the project's first album, A Shedding Snake, saw release in 2016. A native of rural upstate New York, Satalino majored in studio composition at Purchase College. She self-released an EP under her own name in 2008 titled The Good Ones, which saw a vinyl release three years later by Bakery Outlet and Salinas Records.
