A pastiche of crafty, laid-back psychedelia and dreamy bedroom pop, the Shacks are led by the enigmatic duo of guitarist/songwriter Max Shrager and singer Shannon Wise. Already an established writer and producer in his teens, Shrager logged years with Daptone and Dunham Records before issuing his own material via similarly retro-vibed label Big Crown Records.
