The Singing Mechanic

The stage name of singer/songwriter Vincent Voss, the Singing Mechanic is yet another tentacle growing off the ever-expanding avant-garde Christian rock monster known as the Sounds Familyre label. Having listened to nothing but classical music until the age of 11, Voss soon broadened his musical palette with an unfortunate mélange of 1980s soundtrack music and hair metal. A real-life mechanic specializing in Volkswagen buses, running his own Vinnie's Bus'iness, Voss met up with Damien Jurado, Dave Bazan, and Blake Wescott and soon signed on to become Jurado's keyboard player. ...
