Biography
San Francisco gothcore trio Slaves rose in 1997 from the embers of the VSS, reuniting singer/keyboardist Andy Rothbard, guitarist Joshua Hughes, and drummer David Clifford. The group's self-titled debut EP was released in 1998, with the full-length The Devil's Pleasures appearing a year later. After the release of that album, they changed their name to Pleasure Forever. ~ Jason Ankeny
