Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, the Tiffany Shade were a psychedelic rock band whose music combined the pop-infused melodies of jangly folk-rock and thoughtful pop with a hard guitar attack, driving, distorted electric piano, and well-executed harmony vocals. While the group was short-lived, they were a powerful draw in the Midwest, made a notable TV appearance, and cut a self-titled album for Mainstream Records in 1968.
