The Ukiah Drag

Concocting a dark, swampy fusion of blues and doomstruck indie rock, the Ukiah Drag are a band whose roots are in the South but whose heads have migrated to the Northeast. The Ukiah Drag feature guitarist and singer ZZ Ramirez, guitarist and singer Brian Hennessey, bassist Andrew Eaton, keyboardist Nick Klein, and drummer Tommy Conte. Ramirez was formerly in the well-regarded Florida-based band American Snakeskin, and after they broke up, he relocated to Boston, where he fell in with fellow Florida exiles Hennessey and Conte.
