The Veil

Wanting to import the sound of '90s metallic hardcore brought on by the likes of Snapcase, Quicksand, Turmoil, and Gorilla Biscuits, Veil re-introduced this genre normally familiar with American audiences to their scene of Hannover, Germany. Having gotten their start in 1994 with Raoul Festante on vocals, Nils Nordmann on guitar, Florian Schul on drums, and Jens Lauterbach on bass, Veil quickly released two EPs on Holland's Threesome Records before their 1996 full-length, The Burden of Life, followed.
