The Vintage Caravan

Drawing on classic rock influences, early metal, prog, blues, and boogie, Iceland's Vintage Caravan emerged in the late 2000s with a sound that combined the psychedelic haze of Deep Purple with the crushing stoner metal of Mastodon. Founded in the municipality of Álftanes in 2006 by guitarist/vocalist Óskar Logi Ágústsson, drummer Guðjón Reynisson, and bassist Alexander Örn Númason, Vintage Caravan didn't quite become a legitimate working band until 2009.
