Thierry Gomar is a French percussionist who has recorded over 70 albums spanning medieval music to contemporary and jazz. Also a respected educator and scholar, he taught at the conservatoire du Grand Narbonne and he founded the Universités Nomades multidisciplinary arts forum. He received his music education from the Conservatoire de Paris and the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Perpignan.
