Biography
A lo-fi garage punk trio boasting members from Germany, New Zealand, and the U.S., Top Down first came together in Portland, Oregon in 2015. German guitarist/singer Szim, American bassist/singer Chuck Struggler, and Kiwi drummer Fiona Campbell made their first recordings together with legendary Portland punk Fred Cole of Dead Moon. The sessions yielded an EP that was released on 7" by Voodoo Doughnut and on cassette by Struggler's own No Chance label. With Cole again behind the board, Top Down recorded their debut LP, Rough Roads, which Voodoo Doughnut released in March 2017....
