A retro-edged, folky dream pop quartet out of Melbourne, Australia, Totally Mild are like a surf rock-colored, Mazzy Star iron-on-labeled beach tote full of sultriness carried by guitar tones and frontwoman Elizabeth Mitchell's airy, inviting soprano. Begun as a solo project by Mitchell, the band grew to include lead guitarist Zach Schneider, bass player Lehmann Smith, and drummer Ashley Bundang.
