Auckland indie rock quintet Trust Punks formed early in 2013 from the ashes of the more pop-oriented bands Nevernudes, Cool Cult, and Grass Cannons, determined to create a space where they could experiment unencumbered in combining elements of their disparate influences -- bands such as Wire, Deerhunter, Women, and Liars.
