Biography
Experimental noise rock quartet UUUU consist of Wire members Graham Lewis and Matthew Simms, former Coil and Spiritualized member Thighpaulsandra, and drummer/percussionist Valentina Magaletti (Raime, Tomaga, Vanishing Twin). The group's largely improvised recordings veer between chaotic free jazz explorations, heavy Krautrock, spacious zones, and abstract art-pop songs. Editions Mego released the quartet's self-titled debut album in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson
