Biography
Colombian producer Verraco makes heavily detailed club music fusing IDM's complexity with elements of soca, dembow, Brazilian funk, and numerous other genres. He co-founded the Insurgentes label, which was succeeded by the equally well-regarded TraTraTrax. Grial, Verraco's debut album, appeared in 2020, but he broke through to wider acclaim with 2023's Escándaloo EP and especially 2024's Breathe... Godspeed.
Based in Medellín, Colombia, Verraco launched Insurgentes (which he co-founded with Defuse) in 2017, with the intention to challenge Western perceptions about Latin music...
