With a name that alludes to Germany's southern region as well as a decongestant, it's not surprising that Von Südenfed make mischievous, boundary-blurring music. A project of Mouse on Mars' Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner and Fall vocalist Mark E. Smith, Von Südenfed pit Smith's inimitable lyrics and vocals against Toma and St. Werner's sounds, which borrow from electro, disco, dubstep, grime, and more.
