Biography
Baltimore-based hardcore band War On Women make righteous hardcore with a feminist ideology. The group was joined by riot grrrl royalty Kathleen Hanna on their 2018 album Capture the Flag and emerged with a new lineup for 2020's Wonderful Hell.
War On Women formed in 2010 in Baltimore, made up originally by lead singer Shawna Potter and guitarist Brooks Harlan (who had played together in the more indie-geared band AVEC before they decided to start a new project), bassist Rusty Haynie, and drummer Evan Tanner.
