Formed in 2002 in Jakarta after sparks flew between students Aprilia Apsa and Yusmario Farabi while teaching at the Art Institute of Cikini, eclectic pop outfit White Shoes & the Couples Company blend lazy, Burt Bacharach-inspired melodies with winsome indie pop to create a truly unique sound.
