Specializing in a kind of melancholic bedtime folky dream pop, Athens, Georgia-based White Violet are centered around the songs and vocals of writer and guitarist Nate Nelson. The band literally began at impromptu jams in Nelson's bedroom, officially becoming White Violet in 2012 when they started doing live gigs and released a debut album, Hiding, Mingling, recorded with engineer Andy LeMaster.
