Wildernauts

A free-spirited project from acid folk icon Peter Stampfel, Wildernauts is a trio with the former Holy Modal Rounder joined by Walker Shepard on banjo and Eli Smith on guitar. The group specializes in traditional folk music (or new material that sounds like traditional folk music), with playful spontaneity clearly valued over precise instrumental and vocal technique.
